There is also in the Sanborn Genealogy a Vienna Sanborn, born Nov. 5, 1813, daughter of Dudley of Chichester, married Aug. 8, 1843, Samuel Wiggin of Epsom. 1850 Census shows a Samuel Sanborn and wife Vienna with a child Charles age 6 and a Joseph Hopkinson age 18. Samuel is listed as a wheelwright. Age of Vienna and Samuel 25. IGI files give his birth as 1809.
This is most interesting if it is the same Samuel Wiggin with a previous marriage, with census taken, she dies, he remarries right away in time for 1850 census in Mass.
This is confused also with Charles Henry Sanborn who married Vienna Prescott and had a son Charles about the same age. This Vienna would have been born about 1825.

1763 June 12 Eliphalet Sanborn & Margaret his Wife Renewed there Baptizmal Covenant
Dear T. J.,
I hope life finds you and your parents well.
I purchased William Jones' book, Vital Statistics of Epsom, NH 1727-1927, and am very pleased with it. I must make one correction, p. 242. under "Rev. War Service Record" Eliphalet Sanborn, "none found."
After 3 years of wrangling with the DAR, I finally convinced them to return Eliphalet Sanborn's status to that of SOL (soldier) as it was recorded in the DAR Index of 1966. Here is what the DAR wrote: March 24, 1998, "We have made the correction to Eliphalet Sanborn's service to include that as Soldier under Capt. Benjamin Emery, and Colonel Nahum Baldwin."
This correction occurred after a great deal of effort on my part to exonerate his status. I was therefore dismayed to see his service in the Revolution once more obliterated.
Eliphalet Sanborn's service record can be found in the following:
Virgil D. White, "Index to Revolutionary War Service Records, Vol. IV:S-Z,"p.2360.
N.H. State Papers, by Hammond, Vol. 16, Rev. War Rolls, Part III, p.430. Look for Col. Nahum Baldwin's Regiment, 1776, the Battle at White Plains Oct. 28, 1776. Eliphalet served in Cap. Benj. Emery's Co. in Col. Baldwins Regiment.

DAR Vol 31, page 163 "fought in the early wars, served in the Burgoyne campaign."
From The Minnesota Society of the Sons of the American Revolution; Eliphalet Sanborn was born at Hampton, N.H., July 9, 1730; removed to Epsom, N.H. about 1760, and died there July 27, 1794. He enlisted as a private in the New Hampshire militia at Epsom, and served in the campaign around Lake Champlain and at Ticonderoga in the year 1777, and was present at the surrender of Burgoyne after the battle of Saratoga. In the campaign he was disabled by sickness and rendered unfit for military duty, and the tradition of the family is that his life was shortened from ten to twenty years by exposure incident to the military services rendered at the age of 47 years. Eliphalet Sanborn had served a term of enlistment in the Colonial or English Army in the French and Indian war from 1758 to 1760, in a company organized at Hampton, NH, in th eyear 1858, and had been under the command of Major-General Wolfe in Northern New York and Canada. Whether he was one of the five thousand that formed the English line of battle on the Plains of Abraham in September, 1759, is not known. This service no boubt led to his further military service in the Revolutionary War, after he was 47 years of age, during which he naturally broke down in health, and was never afterwards a well man.
