Unverified death date seen as 1781. No further info. Perhaps the John Bickford Jr. seen paying tax in 1793 and 1795.

(G Nasman) Mercy's obituary says she had 4 living children at the time of her death in 1824. We know that Benjamin, Mehitable and Thomas all died prior to 1824. Therefore, the other 4 children, Samuel, Mary, John and Joseph must all have been living in 1824. As one of the younger sons, he may have left the area as soon as he was old enough to make a way for himself, but he must have been alive somewhere in 1824 for the obituary to be true.
