General:
Thomas signed several petitions for separation from Dover and for the Parish of Madbury, in 1732, 1743, and 1754. On on 12 Oct 1756 was from Sundry Inhabitants of Dover for a Bridge across Bellamy's Bank, also signed by nephew John Bickford.

2. Son Thomas - 4 acres in Madbury (now in possession of my son Charles).
3. To son Charles - 7 acres now in his possession where he now dwells.

Within a year of his death only one son, Joseph continued to live in Madbury and was the last of the sons to leave that town buying land in Chichester in 1775. Thomas had moved to Epsom in 1754. John took his oxen and went to Barnstead in 1765. Samuel moved to Epsom Center in the same year. Charles sold his Madbury property in 1766.
