1850 US Mortality Schedules
The schedule gives Nathaniel Allen, 8, but also as a farmer and widowed. Obviously an 8 year old is not a farmer, nor widowed. Believe the 8 should be 80. Month of death, January (1850). Birth place given (incorrectly) as Maine.
Based on census records, it would appear that Nathaniel became of age near the time he bought land of his father Jude in 1789, which would put his birth probably before 1770, and likely first born son.
