It also appears that she married after John Dowst, Benjamin Cate. According to Dolbeer records, the wife of Benjamin Cate died in Epsom, NH Oct. 1855. The 1850 census gives her age as 64 which would give her birth as about 1786, which makes sense with her marriage dates. Her marriage to Benj. Cate is proved by the 1850 census in which her son Ozem Dowst is living with her. Parson Genealogy done for the Dowst's gives the date of death as Oct. 29, 1855.
Epsom, NH Town Records give her age as "about 80" and her birth as about 1779. A date of May, 2, 1762 was seen as a birth date in an LDS file. Birth date here based on age at date of death and 1850 census
