Was a soldier in the Revolutionary War. He was a Private in Capt. Isaac Sherman's Company, Col. Baldwin's Regiment, in 1776.


General Notes: Wife - Deborah Allen



Her father did not appear to have any male heirs. His mother, Deborah, wife of Jude Allen, in her will gave 1 sheep to each of her son's eldest males. Whereas Eleazer did not have one, her granddaughter Deborah Allen got one and and her bed and the remainder of her beding of all sorts and one silk stuff gown. The will was 1753 which places this Deborah's birth prior to that date.
Not absolutely sure whether she is daughter of the first or second marriage of Eleazer.

He was of Deerfield Dec. 15, 1799, but very shorlty thereafter moved to Danville, Vt., where he died Feb. 19, 1832.

Erroneously seen as below, as deed Robert Goss to grandson Joseph Goss proves.
The Wiggin-Barlett-Lincoln MS of the Wiggin Genealogy shows Nathan to be the son of Nathan Goss of Greenland, and Deborah Wiggin of Stratham who died 1763 Jul 09. He is the only child listed and has no dates, just says Lt. Nathan m. Deborah Allen, dau of Jude & Deborah (Locke) Allen. Nathan of Greenland is shown without parents. Epsom Historian George H. Yeaton also uses this line incorrectly.
