From DAR (Vol. 52, p. 431) "served in Capt. Daniel Gordon's company, Col. David Gilman's regiment, to reinforce the army in New York, 1776.
Rockingham County deeds (68-460) shows on December 9, 1762, William Blake sold to George Wallace,"one tract of land in Epsom containing four acres which land is part of said south east corner of said lot where I now dwell which is No. 10 in figures in the plan of said town's home lots." This lot was moved from the bottom of the row of lots to the top, to be called later, No. 1. Indeed, Blake sold the remainder of the lot to Andrew McClary (79-483), a parcel of land being on of ye home lots, lot No. 1, range 1, lying on the north side of the main road being 48 acres more or less."
