NOTICE is hereby given, that the subscriber has been duly appointed administrator, with the Will annexed, on the estate of
SIMEON CHAPMAN,
Late of Epsom, in the county of Merrimack, deceased. All persons having demands against the estate of said deceased are requested to exhibit them for settlement, and all indebted are requested to make payment.

WILL of Simeon Chapman July 16, 1812 Proved November 21, 1825
In the name of God, Amen. I Simeon Chapman of Epsom in the County of Rockingham and State of New Hampshire, husbandman being of a sound mine and disposing memory, do make and ordain this to be my last will and testament. First, my will is that my just debts and funeral charges be first paid out of my estate.
Imprimus... I give to my wife Hannah Chapman one cow and two sheep forever to be kept by her by my Executor both winter and summer so long as she may remain my widow; I also give my said wife seventy five pounds of good beef and seventy five pounds of good pork, ten bushels of potatoes, one half bushel of beans, two barrels of cider, ten pounds of flax from the swingle, seven bushels of Indian corn , two bushels of wheat, one bushel of rye, six bushels of winter apples yearly and every year so land as she remains my widow, to be delivered by my Executor. I also give my said wife during the time she may remain my widow, one room in my house such as she may choose, a privilege in my cellar, a privilege in my barn for the keeping of the cow and sheep, and wood found her out at the door sufficient for one fire and also all the household furniture that she brought to my house when I married here, I give her forever.
I give my daughter Phebe Lock one dollar in one year after my decease.
I give to the children of my son Joseph Chapman, deceased, one dollar each.
I give to the children of my son James Chapman, deceased, one dollar each, the aforesaid legacies given to the children of my sons Joseph and James, deceased, to be paid when the said children shall arrive to the age of twenty years and such of them as may be twenty one years of age at my decease shall receive their legacy in one year after my decease.
I give to my daughter Sarah Sanders one dollar to be paid to her in one year after my decease.
I give to my daughter Lydia Sanders one dollar in one year after my decease.
I give to my daughter Alice Goss one dollar in one year after my decease - All the foregoing legacies to be paid by my Executor.
I give to my daughter Mary Chapman twenty dollars to be paid to he by my Executor in two years after my decease unless the said Mary should sooner marry and no longer,
I give to my daughter Rebecca Chapman twenty dollars to be paid by my Executor in two years after my decease unless the said Rebeccah should sooner marry, and in that case at the at the time of marriage. I also give the said Rebeccah a privilege in my house to live in till the time she may marry and no longer.
Lastly, all the rest and residue of my estate, whether real or personal whatsoever and wheresoever, I give and bequeath to my son David Chapman, to him his heirs and assigns forever and I hereby appoint, make and ordain the said David Chapman and Daniel Goss of said Epsom, yeoman, Executors of this my last will and testament,
