In Rye, Mr. Samuel Wallace, aged 84.

Samuel⁵, baptized 16 August 1747, died Rye, 25 February 1832 [Rye VRs, p. 230], married there on 16 November 1773 [Rye VRs, p. 167], Elizabeth PARSONS, daughter of Samuel and Mary (Jones) Parsons. She was baptized at Rye on 14 Jul 1754 and died there 9 June 1827 [Rye VRs, p. 230]. Elizabeth is named Elizabeth Wallis in the will of her father. [Rockingham Co. Probate #5429, Evans, Abstracts of Rockingham Co. Probate II:715]. This couple is profiled in Hosier's Rye VRs, pp. 313-14, which gives them two children.. If only two children, they were both girls and this line of the Wallis family daughters out. In the 1800 census his household consisted of a male over 45; a women 26-44, a woman over 45 and one other free person.
