“That death is a privilege to human nature, cannot be denied.” But when it takes away by cruel force the dear expectant of approaching happiness, and in a moment snatches from the arms of tender parents a darling child, in the bloom of life, we may well cry our, O! GOD, how unsearchable are thy ways; how inexorable they power; how certain thy conquests; how indeterminately thin arrows fly.- A striking instance of this in the death of SALL S. M’CLARY, daughter of James H. M’Clary, Esq. of Epsom, aged 12 years, who departed this life the 14th instant. She ate her supper apparently well at seven o’clock, and at ten expired without a struggle or a groan. To her, nature had been bountifully kind, and although her education had been of a retired nature, it was such as did honor to her sex.
