Came from London, England, in the ship "Mary and John" in 1633. He settled in Ipswich, MA, and was granted six acres of land in 1637. He removed to Salisbury, MA, and was granted five acres in 1639. He then moved to Haverhill, MA, and was one of the original settlers of the town.
