In Epsom, March 5, 1860, in the 85th year of his age, Mr. Samuel Fowler, a lineal descendant in the fifth generation, from Philip Fowler who came to Massachusetts in the ship Mary and John in 1633. The deceased was born in Newmarket, this State, May 9, 1775, to which place his father and grandfather had removed from Ipswich, Mass., in 1743 and removed with his father's family to Epsom in 1778, and ever afterwards resided there upon the same farm. He was a man of sound sense and strict integrity, much esteemed by his neighbors and friends.
