Notes
General:
Was in Nottingham and had land in Epsom, NH and Gilmanton. One source had his death in Gilmanton in 1788, however "Mark Emerson of Nottingham, NH made a deed of land Dec. 4, 1792. Apparently some of his son's families were living with him according to the 1790 census, as the ages would indicate three generations in the household. The 1800 census of Epsom, NH for Mark Jr. indicates a male over 45 which could be Mark Sr.
His son Mark signs deeds Mark Jr. in 1799 and 1801, and as just Mark Emerson in 1803...this, along with the 1800 census, would indicate Mark Sr. died between 1801 and 1803.
