Father: Samuel Hunt Marden Mother: Unknown
Marriage: Mar 18, 1847 - Concord, NH
Wife Mary E. Ewer
Born: Christened: Died: Buried:
Children
General Notes: Husband - Nathaniel Marden
The Marden Genealogy has from vital records "died Epsom, NH, old age, May 2, 1876, age 90, b. Epsom, NH, laborer." According to the 1850 census, Nathaniel was 58, making the year of birth as 1792 (not 1786 as speculated in the Marden Genealogy). if the death date is correct, he would have been about 84 and not 90. (page 158)
He is mentioned in the will of Samuel Hunt Marden, but not given expressly as son. He may or may not be the Nathan of Epsom who married Mary Ewer in 1847 as he appears in the 1850 Census Epsom, Nancy Marden and Judith Marden as Nathaniel.
1870 Census Nathaniel aged 78 in home of Jeremiah Bennett and wife Betsey (his sister).
He is shown on the 1858 map as living opposite the entrance to Granny Howe Road, but the house does not appear by 1892,
Notes: Marriage
Marriage by Winthrop Fifield NHVR Nathan Marden, resident Epsom to Mary E. Ewer, resident Concord
This is not verified as the right Nathaniel Marden, as the record gives only Nathan, and Nathaniel is wiith his sister and step-mother in Epsom in the 1850 US Census.
