The bible in the hands of John Sawyer of Epsom, NH (2001) on its earlier pages gives much of the Simpson births, deaths and marriages, including the marriage date of Samuel Simpson and Rhoda Colby Oct. 7, 1824 as well as an entry "Miss Rhoda Colby was born June 4, 1801" which pretty much matches age in the 1850 census.
