One hundred acres of land in Epsom of the original right of John Sherburne, number 109 in the fourth range beginning at the north westerly side of the road that leads from Major Joseph Sherburne's house to Josiah Barton's as the road now is taking the whole breath of said lot and extending back southwesterly so far as to contain 100 acres with the buildings standing thereon.

According to the Brown Genealogy, the parents of this Samuel where John Smith Brown and Rachel Philbrick, but is contradicted by the Epsom, NH Town Records for his death. The Brown Genealogy has swapped two Samuel Browns who died within a year of each other.

The Quaker ties to the Gove family are further evidence of this family.
