Epsom, NH Church records record his death at age 45. An IGI file would put his birth around 1784. He died intestate and John Chesley settled the estate. The 1800 US Census gives in his household 1 male between 26-45, a female 10-16, 1 female 26-45 and 1 female 45+. Since he did not marry Rachel Libbey until 1815, then it is possible that he married earlier, since the female between 26 and 45 could not be Rachel, as 1)they were not married yet, and 2) she would be under age 26.

History of Andover (p 222) gives the parents of Isaiah, born 1770, as James and Charlotte (Emerson) Langley.
Esther Langley's parents are known as James Langley and Esther Shaw (The Libbey Family in America, page 299). Esther married Richard Libbey, born 1784, and assuming she was about the same age, would likely be the last born child of James.
James had a daughter Charlotte and a daughter Esther, perhaps having married twice.
In Rockingham County deeds, some of the land of the Estate are sold by his children, assuming the order of names are the same as the birth of his children. No deeds by James mention any wife or dower rights.
History of Andover (p 222) gives the parents of Isaiah, born 1770, as James and Charlotte (Emerson) Langley. James had a daughter Charlotte and a daughter Esther, perhaps having married twice.
