He died between the age of 104 and 110. In the 1850 census he is listed as being at the Epsom, NH Poor Farm, age 88, which would give his birth year as 1762, and he would have died age 99. If indeed he was born abt. 1757, then he would have died closer to age 104.Research:
At a town meeting hled Sept. 28, 1825, it was voted that such sum of money as may be due him from his sister Judith, deceased, late of Epsom, be applied by the selectmen to build him a house.

General:
Of Epsom, NH 1779-1800. Served in the French and Indian wars, including Col. Blanchards Regt, at Crown Point. A surveyor of lumber in Epsom, NH 1779 and signed a petition for preaching in the parish in 1779. He bought land in Epsom, NH from Thomas Babb March 21, 1789, and sold land to Jonathan and Jethro March 20, 1790. William Yeaton Jr. (who married his daughter Sally) sold to Ephraim and Hulda the use of 60 acres of land for $300 June 28, 1805, he having sold to Wm. Yeaton a tract containing about 49 acres, on the westerly side of the road to Pittsfield, it being all of his land on that side except what he had sold to Jethro. (From "A Pettingell Genealogy")
