From his widow's 1812 Pension Claim of 1878
He was 'drafted at Sanbornton, NH on or about the 14th day of October 1814 for the term of 30 days, services terminated at expiration of term at Portsmouth, NH on the 14 day of November 1814. She states she was married i Boston on the 28th of April 1822 by Thoms Baldwin, Clergyman, and that her name before her marriage was Caroline Marden.
That her husband died at Malden, MA about AD 1826 (she cannot give the day) and that the following have been places of residence - Portsmouth and Epsom, N.H. and Malden, MA, and she has resided in Providence, RI the past 11 years.
