Richard and Martha lived in Rye, where he was a Constable in 1708. They were in court on December 5, 1693 for fornication. It may be as Sanborn (20:77) notes that the child in this case was their first son, Richard (i.e., that Richard may have been born fewer than 6 months after their marriage). - Prokasy. See Berrys on the Beach, Sylvia Fitts Getchell, p. 23. "Richard Goss d. bef. 3 Mar. 1719/20 when his will ws proven. Martha was living as late as 1739. 9 children named in will.
Parsons History of Rye, page 367, Richard Goss, a twin brother of Robert of Greenland, married Martha ____, she living 1739. He had 20 acres common land granted to him in 1701. Children: Richard, Mary, Jonathan, Thomas, John W., Jethro, Patty, Margaret, Rachel.
