It is impossible on our small stage to exactly replicate the interior of Independence Hall - it is just too small. The recent renovation of the Chamber where the Declaration was signed is quite different from the photos of the chamber shown here about 50 plus years ago. The use of color is one item that can be matched, and some of the ornamentation can also be found that will give the set the same ambience as the original. Similar doors can be manufactured. One of the hardest items will be the windows and their treatment - curtains or no curtains - shades or no shades. Since the show has the interior during both daylight and darkness hours, and for to re-create those moods, shades would do much for that effect. LINKS:
