part of the Epsom Public LIbrary collection.
Civil
War Veterans who joined the Grand Army of the Republic wore these
GAR hats.
A note
pinned to top says "Cap worn by C.W. Leighton when wounded
June 16th 1864 near the Shand House Virginia"
Post Civil
War belt with GAR insignia. Owner's name marked inside - "J.A.
