General:
EPSOM \endash Pauline E. (Barton) Wheeler, 82, of Samuel Drive, died Tuesday, April 7, 2015, at the Epsom Health Care following a brief illness. She was born in Loudon the daughter of Kenneth K. and Emily P. (Marston) Barton and has lived in the Pittsfield-Epsom area all her life. She was recently honored for 50 years of service as a 4-H club leader. She was a longtime member and Treasurer of the South Pittsfield Community Club. She also served as caretaker of the So. Pittsfield Community Club House and the Quaker Church. She was known as a "Volunteer" throughout the area having worked or been involved in many community activity's. She was well known for her cooking skills and fed many groups over her years of volunteer service. She was voted as "Pittsfield's Citizen of the Year" in 2010.

She was the widow of Don N. Wheeler, who died in 2003 and members of her family include three sons, Gordon A. Wheeler of Epsom, Gary K. Wheeler of Gilmanton and Larry D. Wheeler of Barnstead. Four daughters, Lillian E. Wheeler of Epsom, Caroline E. Vulner of Dover, Charlotte Wheeler of Atlanta, Ga. and Paulette Wolfe of Pittsfield. 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Warren Wheeler in 1998. She also leaves two brothers, David Barton and Bruce Barton, both of Epsom and two sisters, Ruth Bachelder of Epsom and Brenda Dorman of Pittsburg. Many nieces, nephews and cousins.
