Will of Thomas Critchett

"In the name of
God, Amen, I Thomas Critchett of Epsom, NH n the County of Merrimack
and State of New Hampshire, Husbandman being weak in body but of
a sound and disposing mind and memory, do make and publish this
my last will and testament in manor and form following, that is
to say ~
first My will is that
all my just debts shall be paid by my Executor herein after named.
Item, I give and bequeath
to my daughter Sally McMurphy one dollar
Item, I give and bequeath to my daughter Hannah Cilley one dollar
Item, I give and bequeath to my daughter Mehitable Green one dollar
Item, I give and bequeath to my daughter Jane Knox one dollar
Item, I give and bequeath to my son Edward Critchett one dollar
Item, I also give and bequeath to my son Thomas Critchett Junr one
dollar which several sums or legacies I will and order to be paid
by my Executor in one year from and after my decease
Item, I also give and bequeath to my oldest son James Critchett
my clock
Item, I further give and bequeath to my son James Critchett all
my real estate whatsoever and wherever it may be found.
Item, I give and bequeath to my beloved wife Peggy Critchett all
my household furniture of every description for and during her natural
life and at her decease the same to be equally divided among all
my children.
Item, I further give and bequeath unto my beloved wife Peggy Critchett
one cow and three sheep for use during her natural life and at her
decease the same to go to my son James Critchett.
Item, I do also give and bequeath to my son James Critchett all
my neat stock of every description and also all the rest and residue
of ~ my personal property not herein otherwise disposed of.
And lastly I do hereby
consititute and appoint my son James Critchett sole Executor of
this my last will and testament hereby revoking all previous wills
by me made.
In witness whereof I
have hereunto set my hand and seal the 14th day of September, A.D.
1835."

Signed sealed published
and declared by the above named Thomas Critchet as and for his last
will and testament in the presence of us who at his request and
in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as witnesses
thereto~
