WILL of Seth Bartlett

In the name of God, Amen.
I Seth Bartlett of Epsom in the County of Rockingham and State of
New Hampshire, Husbandman, being weak of Body bur of sound mind
Memory and understanding do make this my last Will and Testament
in the manner following:
That is to day sfter recommending my Body to the dust and my Spirit
to the tender mercy of Him who gave it -
First of all I will that all my just debts be paid by my Executor.
Item. I give and devise and bequeath unto my daughters Lois and
Mary Bartlett and my grandson Benjamin Ordway Bartlett their heirs
and assigns forever all of my Real and Personal Estate, all the
Lands and Buildings I own in Epsom meaning the farm I now live on,
together with all the stock on said farm, farming utensils of every
kind excepting what shall be hereinafter bequeathed, to be equally
divided between them on condition my grandson Benjamin Ordway Bartlett
comply with the conditions hereinafter ___. I will that my daughters
Lois and Mary Bartlett and my grandson Benjamin O. Bartlett well
and comfortably maintain my wife as long as she may live.
Item. I give devise and bequeath unto my daughters Lois and Mary
Bartlett all my household furniture.
Item. I give devise and bequeath unto my daughter Rhoda Mussey two
hundred dollars to be paid by my grandson Benjamin Ordway Bartlett
in one year after my decease - my will is that my grandson Benj.
O. Bartlett shall not dispose of the Real Estate I have bequeathed
to him without the consent of his Aunts Lois and Mary Bartlett.
I will that the debts which may be due at my decease be equally
paid by my Daughters Lois and Mary Bartlett and my grandson Benjamin
O. Bartlett.
Item. I give and bequeath unto my daughter Sarah Bartlett one dollar.
Item. I give and bequeath unto my son John Bartlett twenty dollars
and all my currying tools after my deease the money to be paid in
one year after my decease.
Item. I give and bequeath unto my grandson Peter Bartlett one dollar.
I will that the legacies excepting the one to my daughter Rhoda
Mussey be equally paid by my daughters Lois Bartlett and Mary Bartlett
and my grandson Benjamin O. Bartlett.
And lastly I constitute and appoint my Daughters Lois and Mary Bartlett
sole executors of this my last Will and Testament and I do hereby
revoke all by me heretofore made, and ratify and confirm this and
this only to be my last Will and Testament.
In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this twenty
second day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred
and nine.

and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who have
hereunto set our names as witnesses thereto in the presence of the
sd Testament in presence of each other.
