WILL OF NATHAN LIBBEY - 1813

WILL of Nathan Libbee 1813

In the name of God, Amen. I Nathan Libbee of Epsom in the County of Rockingham and State of New Hampshire, husbandman, being weak in body but of a sound and disposing mind and memory considering the uncertainty of this life and being desirous to settle my worldly affairs while I have strength and capacity so to do, do make and publish this my last Will and Testament and therein and thereby, dispose of all my worldly estate in manner following, to wit: -

First I give devise and bequeath unto Abigail Libbee my wife, all my real estate to enjoy the same until my son Nathan Libbee Jr. is twenty one years of age, after my said son Nathan Libbee Jr. arrives to the year of twenty one I will that my Wife receive one third part of the net income of my said Estate during her natural life - she being under obligation to bring up my sons, Nathan Libbee Jr. and Benjamin Fowler Libbee, until they are twenty one years of age - Also I give unto my said Wife all my personal Estate for her use and benefit like the Real Estate - also all my household furniture to be at her disposal excepting my Clock.

Second I give devise and bequeath unto my daughter Lucy Haynes one hundred fifty dollars to be paid to her in four years after by decease by my Executor.

Thirdly I give devise and bequeath unto my son Nathan Libbee Jr. all my Real Estate when he arrives to the year of twenty one he is to take possession of the same on condition that he deliver unto his mother yearly and every year during her natural life one third part of the net income of the same.

Fourthly, I give and devise and bequeath unto my son Benjamin Fowler Libbee all the money I have now as interest (excepting what I have given unto my daughter Lucy Haynes) also my Clock.

I will that all my just debts be paid by my Executor out of my Estate.

Lastly I constitute and appoint my wife Abigail Libbee Executrix of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all former Wills by me made. In testimony whereof, I, the said Nathan Libbee have to this my last Will and Testament, set my hand and seal this fourteenth day of December A.D. 1813.
