Walter
Sanborn, well know historian from Chichester,
NH presented an extensive slide show on that
town. Inadditioin there were some interesting
slides from Epsom. Mr. Sanborn is an important
leader in the Historical Society of Chichester
and contributes articles regularly to the Suncook
Valley Sun newspaper. He recently has provided
this program at the Chichester 275th Anniversary
Old Home Day as well as to other area organizations.
Epsom and Chichester are sister towns, sharing
the same year of incorporation (1727).
Following
the meeting gifts were presented from the Association
in appreciation to out-going President of 5
years Carleton Rand and his wife Joyce by secretary
Elsie Fife.
